Immortality

When none of us are children anymore
And on that day we shall rise into legendary.
When our faces feel the sun again
And then our children, years from now
Will ask us to tell the story of the day we became heroes
And we shall regail them with our martyrs
And they will be inspired to make their own day.
And in this way.....We will become immortal.

To be immortal is the drive of man. To live forever stirs our hearts. What else should drive us? In Romans chapter 10 it states:
"Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes."

I want that, I want all of us to want to have that desire, to have a that drive. That is my hearts desire, my hearts prayer, is that this will be our desire. The call of our hearts, that each one of us will step out on the front lines willing to serve and if it be God's will, to be killed for His name's sake. To become dangerous disciples, to become immortal in His name.
